Other things to do while in a Gurudwara!

Sometimes it becomes difficult to follow the standard format of listening to kirtan at a Gurudwara by sitting in silence at a stretch.

Ofcourse, there’s the usual option of going to do sewa for a while serving langar or washing the dishes. But many gurudwaras don’t have kirtan audible inside the Langar halls over the din of clanging utensils. Neither is it a peaceful place to be in. I discovered that sketching is an excellent alternative. I also somehow listen better when sketching.
