Description
Every year, a week before the Gurpurabs commemorating the birth of Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh, Sikhs of every faith take out an early morning (Prabhat) procession (Pheri) from their homes singing shabads and chanting the name of waheguru, ending at the local gurudwara.
This artwork came to me in a flash of inspiration when I heard the Prabhat Pheri outside the house at 4 in the morning. The sound of cymbals and sangat singing Gurbani was an experience that moved me to tears. Hope the feeling will stay with you as you look at the print in your house too!
